Zella Mae Duncan

Zella Mae Woodward Duncan, 88, of Statesville, passed away Friday, January 11, 2019 at Rosewood Assisted Living. She was born in Iredell County on April 11, 1930 to the late Lindsey and Daily Goodin Woodward.



Mrs. Duncan was a graduate of Central School and was married to Paul Houston Duncan, who preceded her in death. She was a member of Taylor Springs Baptist Church and was a homemaker who took great pride in taking care of her family.



Along with her parents and husband, Paul, she was preceded in death by a sister, Flossie Mason.



Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Mickey Duncan (Elaine) and Jeff Duncan (Christy); three grandchildren Tyler, Noah, and Nathan Duncan; and one sister, Eula Woodward.



A Graveside service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Rocky Hill Baptist Church. The family will visit with friends following the service.
