Willie Faye Bradburn

Willie Faye Shumaker Bradburn, of Statesville, died Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Iredell Memorial Hospital. She was born in Iredell County on October 11, 1925 to the late Raymond Clyde Shumaker and Annie Grace Cornelius Shumaker. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Virginia, who died March 28, 2015. Mrs. Bradburn graduated from Statesville High School in 1942. Faye retired after more than 30 years from Uniglass Industries and had also worked as a cashier/hostess at the former Country Kitchen restaurant and the Comfort Inn until she was 85 years old. She played the organ for many years at various weddings. In the last few years she loved to take long walks with her little dog. A Graveside service will be held for Mrs. Bradburn on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 11:00 am at Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. J.B. Parker officiating.
