William Walton Bohn

William Walton Bohn, 86, of High Point passed away Friday December 25th at Hospice of Davidson County. He was the son of the late William Vernell Bohn and Hazel Talbott Walton Bohn. He was born July 15, 1934 in Portland, OR and grew up in Oregon and San Mateo, CA. He graduated from the University of California Berkley and served in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Keith D. Bohn. He is survived by his sons Norris C. Bohn of Winston-Salem and Aaron T. Bohn of Atlanta, GA, his sisters Betty De Ruysscher of Oregon and Marilyn Bohn of California, grandchildren Christopher R. Swier and Anna Beth Colby, a niece and nephews, and his companion of nearly 20 years, Ruth Traveletti. For many years, he worked for Integon Insurance (later GMAC) in Winston-Salem as an actuary and programmer. He passionately enjoyed hiking, music, and dance. A memorial will be planned for a later date.
