William Milas Campbell

December 8, 1935 — July 4, 2019

William Milas Campbell, 83, formerly of Statesville, died Thursday, July 4, 2019 at the Gordom Hospice House.

He was born in Iredell County on December 8, 1935 to the late Isom Campbell and Maude Belle Myers Campbell.

Milas was a graduate of Union Grove School and NC State University and was a retired engineer from Froehling and Robertson in Fayetteville, NC. He proudly served his country in the US Navy during the Korean War.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

There will be no local services. Nicholson Funeral Home is serving the Campbell family.
