William M. Grubb

William M. Grubb, 85, died Thursday, January 18, 2018, at home under Hospice care.



William was President of Holiday Finance of Statesville and retired from there when he was 81. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, boating, water skiing and golf. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.



William is survived by his wife of 64 years, Carolyn, his daughter Janet Phillips, daughter Rachel James, granddaughter Audrey Cook, grandson Morgan James and sister Laila Cox.



A celebration of life will be held at Nicholson Funeral Home Thursday, January 25 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends after the service in the reception room.



In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any memorials be made to the Arthritis Foundation or the Iredell County Humane Society.
