William Lee Dingler

Mr. William Lee Dingler, 69, of Statesville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 2, 2016, at his home. Mr. Dingler was born in Iredell County on November 2, 1946, and was the son of the late William French and Chillabane Moose Dingler. He was a graduate of Statesville High School. He was retired from International Paper where he went to work right out of high school. Mr. Dingler enjoyed coaching youth sports. Left to cherish his memory are two sons, Lynn Dingler (Beth) and Lorin Dingler (Lori) and their mother, Linda Dingler along with two grandsons, William Logan and Richard Landon Dingler and one granddaughter, Lindsey Lee Dingler. He is also survived by his sister, Lida Shives (Freddie); a niece, Lee Ann Shives Robinson (Kenny), great nephew, Jeffrey O'Neil Robinson and great niece, Ashlen LeeAnn Robinson. His beloved four legged babies, Roscoe and Half Pint and dear friends and neighbors Tom and Dot Fink.
