William Isaac Hutchens

Mr. William Isaac ( Ike) Hutchens, 86, of Statesville, died Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Iredell Memorial Hospital. Born March 7, 1932 in Yadkin County, he was a son of the late William Henry Hutchens and Rebecca Jane Reavis Hutchens.



He was a graduate of West Yadkin High School and retired from the furniture manufacturing business.



He is survived by his wife, Jessie Hayes Hutchens, a son, William S. (Buddy) Hutchens, three daughters, Peggy Sharpe (Michael), Brenda Levan (Keith) and Emma Jean McHenry.



Also surviving are five grandchildren,: Stephen McHenry, Jennifer Andrade (Fernando), Teresa Faye Levan, Lisa Garcia, Michael Sharpe and five great grandchildren: Audrianna Garcia, Emylii Garcia, Thomas McHenry, Nathalia Andrade and Clarissa Garcia.



Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Dellinger officiating. The family will greet friends Tuesday evening at Nicholson Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Redemption Baptist Church Cemetery.
