William "Frank" Franklin Isaac

William Franklin Isaac, 71, of Statesville, passed away at his residence surrounded by family on Thursday, October 12, 2017. He was born on November 23, 1945 in Iredell County to the late Samuel Dewey Isaac and Emma Kerley Isaac. Mr. Isaac attended Cool Springs School and was married to Gerry Hopkins Isaac, who survives. They shared over 52 years of marriage before his passing. He was retired from DeJong Enterprises where he was a truck driver and was a member of Command Baptist Church. Frank loved golfing, fishing, and was a devout Washington Redskins fan. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend who will be greatly missed. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Gerry; son, Billy Isaac (Patty); four daughters, Sheila Norman (Richard), Tandra Garvey (Josh), Jackie Isaac, and Crystal Waugh (Billy); special children, James Lett and Ray Seamon; 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; a brother, Robert Isaac; and a sister, Lena Ladd. Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Command Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Fox and Rev. Jim Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
