Wendy Denise Benfield

Wendy Denise Keller Benfield, 43, of Statesville, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Iredell County on January 28, 1973 to Melvin Postell Keller and Betty Lou Parker Keller, who survive. Wendy attended West Iredell High School and was a Homemaker. She was of Baptist faith and was a loving mother to her twin boys. Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Melvin and Betty Keller; twin sons, Keegan and Kandon Benfield; two brothers, Dennis Keller (Maria) and Tim Keller (Tina); one sister, Lisa McCreary; ex-husband, Jason Benfield; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, May 20, 2016 at the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Kiser officiating. Burial will follow at the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will visit with friends prior to the service at the funeral home from 1:00 until 2:00 pm.
