Virginia Mae Hinson

Mrs. Virginia Mae Gaither Hinson, 91, of Harmony, NC passed away, Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Rosewood Assisted Living.



Mrs. Hinson was born May 7, 1927 in Iredell County and was the daughter of the late Burl Samuel Gaither and Myrtle Tomlinson Gaither. She was a graduate of Harmony High School and on December 15, 1946, she was married to Hubert Franklin Hinson, who survives. She attended Harmony United Methodist Church and was retired from Hunt Manufacturing Company.



In addition to her husband of 71 years, she is survived by one daughter, Gail Hinson of Union Grove, one granddaughter, Olivia Caitlin Hinson of Union Grove, one brother, Billy Frank Gaither of Harmony, one sister, Betty Gaither Wallace of Harmony and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Peggy Gaither Sloan.



Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday, August 17, 2018 at Harmony United Methodist Church. The family will visit with friends on Friday from 10:00-11:00 am. Burial will follow in the Harmony Community Cemetery.
