Tracy Lynn Evans

Mr. Tracy Lynn Evans, 58, of both Rock Hill and Statesville, passed away, Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at his home in Rock Hill, SC. Mr. Evans was born September 12, 1956 in Iredell County and was the son of Herman and Barbara Harris Evans of Statesville. He was a graduate of North Iredell High School and was a member of Society Baptist Church. He was employed by Blyth, Inc. and on August 3, 2001, he was married to Rebecca Merritt Evans, who survives of the home. He enjoyed softball, bowling, hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by one brother, Tony Alan Evans of Statesville, one sister, Gail Evans Mitchell of Hamptonville, two nephews, Matthew Cody Mitchell (Lindsay) and Michael Brandon Mitchell both of Hamptonville; two step-sons, Chris Threatt of Rock Hill, SC, Robert Threatt (Cynthia) of Fort Lawn, SC and four step-grandchildren, Kristy, Shannon, Madison and Caleb Threatt. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Society Baptist Church with Rev. Roy Vogan and Rev. Jeff Holder officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Society Baptist Church. Active pallbearers will be Chris and Robert Threatt, Jacob and Jason Freeman and Kyle and Jason Ghent.
