Tommy Mitchell Myers

Mr. Tommy Mitchell Myers, 71, of Statesville, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at his home.



Mr. Myers was born December 20, 1947 in Iredell County and was the son of the late John Burley Myers and Enis Frances Jolly Myers. He was a graduate of North Iredell High school and served in the U.S. Army. He was the owner of J&W Lake Services, working on piers and docks for many years.



He is survived by one son, Tony Brian Jones of Harmony, two step sons, Dale Jones (Lynn), Jody Jones (Lisa), step daughter, Tammy Church (Bradley), daughter-in-law, Rachel Jones, one granddaughter, Kaylea Jones, four grandsons, Tony Brian Jones, Jr., Tommy A. Jones, Mason Reynolds, Caleb Hupp, eight step grandchildren, one brother, Rayford D. Myers (Wanda), mother of his children, Mary E. Jones, and several niece and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Tommy Mitchell Jones and six brothers, Johnny, Bill, Sam, R.C., George and Frank Myers.



Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Dr. J.B. Parker officiating. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.nicholsonfunerals.com
