Thomas Stanley Winter

Thomas Stanley Winter, 56, of Statesville, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017 at his residence. He was born on February 17, 1961 to the late Damazy and Christine Kala Winter. Tom was a graduate of Sewanhaka Central High School and was employed by the U.S. Postal Service. He had a great love for animals and gardening. He loved to be outdoors especially with a fishing pole in his hands. Tom will be missed dearly by all who knew. Left to cherish his memory are a sister, Helen Belair of Wilmington, Delaware; a niece, Kristin Fols; a nephew, Lukas Fols; his best friends, Chris and Christine Novelli, and former wife, Nadine Winter. A private family gathering will be held at a later date in North Carolina. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Iredell County Animal Services, 430 Bristol Road, Statesville, NC 28625.
