Thomas Robert Silvers

Thomas "Tom" Robert Silvers, 71, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 27, 2019 in his home in Granite Falls, NC.



Mr. Silvers was born in Fort Mill, SC on November 10, 1947 and was the son of the late Fred T. Silvers and Sadie Stamper Silvers. He was a graduate of Fort Mill High School and he served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force.



On September 23, 1994 he married Bonita Levan Silvers and together they shared 24 years of marriage until his passing.



He was a retired ATM Service Tech with Diebold Nixdorf Security Systems.



In addition to his wife Bonita, he is survived by his four children, Eric, Stephanie, Stephen, and Bradley Silvers, two step-sons, David and Steven Wright, seven grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.



Funeral services honoring the life of Tom Silvers will be conducted at 3:00 PM Friday, February 1, 2019 in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Scott Greene officiating. The family will visit with friends from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
