Teresa Josey

Teresa Ballard Josey, 68, of Statesville, died Oct. 18, 2016 at Iredell Memorial Hospital after a long battle with N.A.S.H. Teresa was born March 13, 1948 in Iredell County and was the daughter of the late Don and Thelma Brewer Ballard. She was a graduate of Iredell County schools, was previously married to Mack Josey and was retired from Dr. Borja's office. She is survived by one son, Don Bradley of Statesville, three grandchildren, Jacob Josey, Anna Josey and Kayla Josey Boling (Shane) all of Statesville along with four great grandchildren, Kimi Page, Hendrix Lee, Lincoln Conroy and Lawrence Donovan Boling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Kimberly "Mimi" Dawn Josey and one brother, Craig Ballard. Graveside funeral services will be conducted 3:30 p.m. Monday, October 24, 2016 at Oakwood Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her daughter. The family will visit with friends on Monday from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Nicholson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Mack Josey, 114-203 Signal Hill Dr., Statesville, nc 28625, to go towards buying a grave marker for Teresa and Kimberly.
