Teresa Anne Rimmer

Teresa Anne Speaks Rimmer, 47, of Statesville passed away Monday, August 31, 2015 at the Gordon Hospice House. She was born in Iredell County on August 18, 1968 to Wayne and Fleeta Speaks, who survive. Teresa was a graduate of North Iredell High School and was married to Duane D. Rimmer on July 9, 1989. They had over 26 years of marriage before her passing. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who touched everyone who knew her. She was a member of the Order of Rainbows for Girls, she received her Majority Service in August of 1989. She was employed by Manheim Statesville Auto Auction as a clerical worker and was a member of Gloryland Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Wayne and Fleeta Speaks and husband, Duane Rimmer, along with two daughters, Skylar and Macy Rimmer; a sister, Debbie Hill (Jimmy); two brothers, Kevin Speaks (Wendy) and Wayne Speaks, Jr.; a mother-in-law, Andy Rimmer; a sister-in-law, Renee Rimmer, all of Statesville; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A memorial service for Teresa will be held 7:00 PM Friday, September 4, 2015 at he Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Blain Keaton and David Turner officiating. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 6:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be assembled at the home of Wayne and Freeta Speaks.
