Tammi Renee Byers

Tammi Renee Byers, 58, of Union Grove passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Baptist Hospital.

 She was born in Titusville, Pennsylvania, and was the daughter of the late Leon Byers and Marian Kingston Byers.

 Tammi was a graduate of Oil City High School in Pennsylvania. She spent 25+ years in the financial field, helping local companies with their bookkeeping. Tammi enjoyed the outdoors, especially being on horseback or ATV with her friends, discovering new mountain trails. A perfect outing to her was loading a couple saddlebag coolers and disappearing in the woods all day on horseback with her best friend. She also liked to attend local rodeos and participated in pool tournaments and karaoke in her younger years. Tammi showed her horses in English, Western, and Reining classes before discovering her love of Weimaraners and began showing/breeding dogs. Her dogs won various titles ranging from Barn Hunt Champion to Best in Show. Puppies from her litters attained numerous titles as well.

 Those left to cherish her memory include two brothers, Randy Byers (Heather), and Ed Byers; a niece, Elyse Byers; three aunts, Jean Kingston, Peggy Kingston, and Shirley Barr; along with many cousins. She also leaves behind many friends including her dear friends Erin Shroyer and Pepe Anastas.

 A Gathering of Friends will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Nicholson Funeral Home.
