Sue White Moore

Sue White Moore, 91, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017. She was born in Iredell County on February 25, 1926 to the late William Nelson White and Mary King Hill White. Mrs. White was a graduate of Central High School and Mitchell College. On February 26, 1955, she married Joe Leonard Moore who preceded her in death on August 9, 1984. She was a bank teller at First Savings and Loan then BB&T where she retired. Along with her parents and husband, Joe, she was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Hill White. Left to cherish her memory are a son, William Leonard Moore (Natalie); a grandson, Hayden Joseph Moore; and a granddaughter, Sophie Mae Moore, all of Clemmons. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, May 14, 2017 at New Sterling ARP Church with Dr. Earl Linderman officiating. The family will visit with friends in the Fellowship Hall following the service. Memorials may be made to New Sterling ARP Cemetery Fund, 580 New Sterling Road, Stony Point, NC 28678.
