Stuart Melcome Williams

Stuart Melcome Williams, age 76, of Statesville, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at the W.G. (Bill) Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury. Mr. Williams was born on October 10, 1946, in Rochester, New York.

He was a veteran of the United States Marines having served from 1963 until 1967. He then re-enlisted in the United States Airforce where her was stationed in Las Vegas, Nevada.

During his career, Stuart worked as a Salesman for Colonial Windows in New York until his retirement. He and his wife, Lilian are members of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 12 years, Lilian Ainslie Williams; and his daughters, Katrina and Christine. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Josh.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 3:30 pm, Saturday, December 3, 2022, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 318 James Farm Rd., Statesville.
