Steven Eual Byers

Steven Eual "Steve" Byers, 67, of Statesville, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at Iredell Memorial Hospital. Mr. Byers was born December 25, 1948, in Iredell County and was the son of the late Brady Eual and Ruth Gregory Byers. He attended Iredell County school Mr. Byers was a member of New Bethany Baptist Church and was employed with Southeastern Tubular Products, Inc. Mr. Byers is survived by his daughter, Melissa Byers (Jimmy Mitchell) and a grandson, Adam B. Byers; two sisters, Shirley Stewart and Beatrice Taylor (Larry), all of Statesville along with one nephew, two nieces and a number of extended family. Funeral services for Mr. Byers will be conducted 3:00 PM Saturday, February 27, 2016, at New Bethany Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Mason officiating. The family will visit with friends from 1:00 until 3:00 PM Saturday at the church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
