Sra Ethan Christopher Wayne

SRA Ethan Christopher Wayne, 22, of Elmendorf Air Force Base, Anchorage, AK, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 19, 2015. Ethan was born in Anchorage, AK on September 14, 1992. He was at graduate of West Iredell High School and was serving in active duty in the US Air Force in the 3rd Munitions Squadron. He is survived by his mother and her husband, Roxann Rogers Lovette and Corey Lovette of Statesville, his father, Rick Edwards and wife, Courtney, of Waxahachie, TX; three sisters, Samantha Wayne and Rayann Lovette, both of Statesville and Noah Edwards of TX along with one brother, Breagan Edwards of TX. He is also survived by his grandparents, Jerry and Fredda Rogers of Statesville, Lynda Tamez of TX, Jim and Barbara Bailey of PA, and Howard and Martelle Edwards of TX. He is further survived by numerous aunts and cousins. Funeral services celebrating the life of Ethan Wayne will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, August 28, 2015, in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dave Abberger officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at 2:00 pm Friday, August 28, 2015, in the Salisbury National Cemetery. The family will visit Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Nicholson Funeral Home. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to charity of donor's choice.
