Sixto Carmona Silva

Sixto Carmona Silva, 81, of Statesville, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Iredell Memorial Hospital. He was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico on August 6, 1937 to the late Fernando Carmona and Maria Silva.



He was retired from Hunt Manufacturing where he had been a Department Supervisor.



Left to cherish his memory are his wife of nearly 60 years, Maria; his sister, Zice; nine children, 28 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren. He will be forever in our hearts.



Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm Monday, January 14, 2019 at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 until 4:00 pm at Nicholson Funeral Home.
