Shirley Leola Neighbors

Shirley Leola Neighbors, age 72, of Statesville, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at Iredell Memorial Hospital. Born on July 8, 1949, in Dan Valley, NC, she was the daughter of the late Robert Burton Hall and Essie Marie Hall.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Sifford; her sister, Debbie Hunley; and her brothers, Donald Hall, Jimmy Hall and Jay Hall.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Billy Neighbors; daughter, Cynthia Weatherman of Statesville; stepchildren, Cindy Neighbors of Stewart, TN, Tammy Woodard of Shreveport, LA, Jamie Davis of Vivian, LA, Freddy Neighbors of Karnach, TX, and Deanie Clendenin of Statesville; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Roger Hall of Statesville, Charles Hall of Eden, NC, Joann Martin of Statesville, and Bobbie Deal of Bassett, VA.

A Memorial Service to Celebrate her Life will be held Saturday, March 5, 2022, in the Chapel of Nicholson Funeral Home with Heather Besoiu, Funeral Celebrant officiating.
