Shelby Wilburn Doub, Jr.

Shelby Wilburn Doub, Jr., 51 of Clemmons, entered into eternity on April 14, 2021. He was born July 23, 1969 to Shelby Wilburn Doub, Sr. and Linda Martin. Shelby spent his working career with IBEW-342. Not only did he enjoy the work he did, but the places all over the United States he was sent to work and the people he met along the way. Shelby enjoyed so much about his life and the ones around him. Some of his favorites were fishing, riding his motorcycle, animals of all kinds including his 'herd' of Chihuahua dogs. He had such a desire to serve others that in his free time his favorite place to be was working alongside his mom with "God's Own Ministry". He was sometimes referred to as 'Mama's Boy', because of his love for her and willingness to always help with anything that needed to be done. Shelby is survived by his father, Shelby (Doris) Doub, Sr., his mother Linda (Richard) Martin; brother, Michael Doub of Lexington; sister, Shelley (Michael) Huffman of Jonesville; special niece, Taylor Doub of Lexington; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Denise Doub. A Celebration of Life is planned for 1:30 pm Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Mana Baptist Church, 4368 Stokesdale Avenue, Winston Salem, NC with Pastor Phil Little officiating. The church is graciously feeding immediate family at 12:30.
