Shannon Harger Jurica

Shannon Harger Jurica, 50, of Statesville, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2016 at his residence. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on July 8, 1966. Shannon was a graduate of Gregory Portland High School and Texas State Technical Institute. He was married to Angel Patterson, who survives. Shannon was Assistant Manager of Pep Boys loving his job until his health declined. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Vergie Klunkert Jurica of Wimberly, TX; his wife, Angel, of the home; two brothers, Scott Jurica (Lisa) and Ryan Jurica, both of Austin, TX; two nephews, Harper and Cedric Jurica of Austin, TX; uncle, Gordan Klundert (Becky) of Dallas, TX; and aunt, Lee Cox, of Tomball, TX. A Gathering of Friends will be held Wednesday evening, September 7, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the home of the Cantrells, 2526 Scalybark Road, Statesville, NC 28625. Burial will follow at a later date in Texas. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the wonderful nurses with Hospice of Iredell County: Leesha, Texie, Ginny, Barbara, and Elizabeth.
