Shannon Meliea Bentley

Shannon Meliea Bentley, 50 of Statesville, died Saturday, February 24, 2024, at her home following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Burke County on July 10, 1973, to Clyde Douglas Bentley and the late Annette McGlamery Bentley.

Shannon was the plant manager for Haldex Hydrolics prior to being disabled. She loved dressing up and putting on her make up. She loved her puppies, going to the beach, watching preaching on television, and cooking.

Along with her father, Clyde Douglas Bentley (Retha), those left to cherish her memory include her fiancé`, Michael Lewis, whom she had been with for 14 years, a brother, Jesse Coffey (Amiea), her pastor, Lance Mainn, and her puppies, Wilbur, Webbie and Willow.

At her request, there will be no formal services held.  Memorial donations may be sent to Lake Norman Humane, 110 Robinson Rd., Mooresville, NC 28117.
