Serenity Angelette Morgan

Serenity Angelette Morgan, 11, of Statesville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at her home. She was born in Iredell County on April 24, 2007 and was the daughter of Sandie Plott and David Morgan.



Serenity attended Celeste Henkel School and was a rising 6th grader. She was a straight A student and made all 5's on her EOG last year. She was a cheerleader and she loved her friends, but most beloved by her siblings.



Serenity is survived by her mother, Sandra Plott of Statesville, father, David Morgan, three siblings, Jake Krahenbuhl, Samara Morgan, and Joey Proffit, her grandmother, Kaye Plott and her cousin Destini Plott. She is also survived by her great grandmother, Judy Freeze of Catawba, along with her great aunts and uncles.



Funeral services for Serenity Morgan will be conducted at 2 PM Saturday, July 14 in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Dirico officiating. Burial will follow in the Bright Light Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the service.
