Scotty Gray Hiatt

Scotty Gray Hiatt - 52, of High Point, North Carolina, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Wednesday, February 2, 2022. He was born September 11, 1969, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, to Roy Lee Hiatt and Janet Elaine (Smith) Burns. Scotty was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed working on automobiles, especially his trucks, and watching NASCAR. Scotty worked for 30 years for Reliable Bedding as a Mattress Builder before leaving in December 2021 due to his health. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Marvin "Jody" Joseph Burns, and his maternal grandparents, John Moir Smith and Ruth (Culler) Smith. Left to cherish his memory are his significant other of 30 years, Carol Marie Smith; son, Sebastian Gray Hiatt; daughter, Constance Kaye Marie Burcham; grandchildren, Randy Scott Crayton II, Kaleb Craig Poole, Jasmin Pearl Poole, and Gaberial Kimberley Poole; father, Roy Lee Hiatt; mother, Janet (Smith) Burns; brothers, Roger Lee Hiatt (Kim), Travis Hiatt, Randy Hiatt, and Jason Hiatt; sisters, Ann Gay Stanley and Tammy Jackson; many nieces and nephews; and his doggy friends, Ace and Chico.
