Scott Howard Hogan

Scott Howard Hogan, 80, of Statesville, died Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Iredell Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Fergus Falls, MN on November 24, 1941 to the late Howard Caleb Hogan and Marianne Bernice Halvorson Hogan.

Scott was retired from the Hardware manufacturing business as a manufacturer's representative. He loved reading, kayaking, canoe trips, and walking on the beach. He was also a big railroad aficionado, had model layouts and took numerous train trips. Among many other things, he will forever be remembered for his love of baking and sharing his chocolate chip cookies.

Scott is survived by his ex-spouse and best friend, Katherine Hogan, two sons, James & Jeffrey and their wives Crissy and Christy along with grandchildren Bryce, Tyler, Payton and Nathan and one Great-granddaughter Blair, and a sister, Jane Hogan.

There will be a memorial service in Florida with a spreading of ashes at sea out from his favorite beach later this year.
