Scott Douglas Southard

Scott Douglas Southard, age 57, of Statesville passed away January 14, 2022 at Iredell Memorial Hospital.

He was born October 21, 1964 in Iredell County, North Carolina the son of Ramon Southard and the late Barbara G. Southard.

Scott drove a truck and operated equipment for many years professionally and loved mini trucking and all the wonderful friends he made in the community. Scott was the founding president of the NC Chapter of Banzai Cruisers, was a former Troutman Volunteer Fire Fighter, treasured his custom Astro Van and was never happier than when he was at the car shows with friends. He loved his pets. Most of all, he was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend and will be missed by all.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 37 years, Angela A. Southard; daughter, Megan Southard; father, Ramon Southard; brother, Michael Southard and fianc Jennifer Hennessey; nieces, Barbara Southard and Tiffany Porter; nephew, John Southard; and numerous other beloved family and friends.

The family will have a private celebration of life at a later date.
