Saralena Sue Sharpe

Saralena Sue Teetor Sharpe, 66, died Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Wake Medical Center. Born in Madison County, Illinois on December 3, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Edgar William Teetor and Pauline York Teetor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Dale Sharpe and a grandson, Jonathan Dale Mitchell Sharpe. She was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church and was a homemaker enjoying quilting, embroidery and crocheting. Survivors include a daughter, Amy Mitchell McDaniel and her husband Mac McDaniel of Youngsville, N.C. and two grandsons, Sean and Taylor McDaniel. Also surviving are special friends, Eleanor and Julian Campbell and the Wooten Family. Services celebrating Saralena's life will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at New Prospect Baptist Church with Rev. Josh Byrd, Rev. Joey Campbell, Rev. Jessie Stroud and Rev. Dwight Dowell officiating. Burial will follow in the New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00 until 2:00 prior.
