Sarah Jane Phillips

LEXINGTON- Mrs. Sarah Jane Phillips, 84, of Lexington, NC passed away on November 04, 2021 at Brookstone Retirement Center in Lexington, NC. The daughter of the late Mr. Mack & Huldia Carpenter, Mrs. Phillips was born in Cocke County, Tennessee on June 25, 1937. Mrs. Phillips was known as a loving, giving and kind woman. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Eli Phillips Sr., daughter Becky Phillips McDaniels, son Jackie Lynn Phillips, and three siblings. She is survived by four of her children, Doug Phillips (Elizabeth), George "Joe" Phillips, Eli Phillips Jr., Richard Phillips, thirteen Grandchildren, twenty-one Great-Grandchildren and one Great-Great Grandchild. Ms. Phillips will be interred at Clark Cemetery in Hartford, Tennessee.
