Sarah Ann Sears

Sarah Ann Sears, 60, of Statesville, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2016 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. She was born in Richmond, VA to the late James Garfield Sears and Anna Mae Dowdy Sears, who survives. Sarah was a graduate of Union High School and received her CNA-Med Tech. Certification from Mitchell College. She had worked at Summit Place Assisted Living before her health declined. She was kind-hearted, always thinking of others. Her passion was caring for the residents and loving them like family. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Anna; a daughter, Amy Lewis; a son, Eric Dillion; and her former husband and caregiver, Richard Huffman.
