Sandra Elizabeth Warner

Mrs. Sandra Elizabeth Smith Warner, 70, of Statesville, died Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, N.C. Born in Syracuse , New York on August 1, 1947, she was a daughter of the late John C. Smith and Vivian V. Smith. On March 22, 1969, she married Mr. Adrian L. Warner who survives.



She was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Smith and a sister, Joann Smith Newton.



She loved going to Disney World. She formerly worked throughout her career at Crescent Corset Company in Cortland, N.Y., Marshall Trucking Company in Syracuse, N.Y. and Ames Department Store in Chittenango, New York.



Survivors in addition to her husband, include a son, Adrian Warner, Jr."Chip" (Hillary) of Paxton, Ma., two daughters, Amy Morley (Mark) of Statesville and Celeste Lorraine (Tommy) of York, S.C. Also surviving are her brothers, Roger Smith (Visi) of Beaver Creek, Ohio and Perry Smith (Jackie) of Charleston, S.C., along with a sister, Nancy Smith Welsh of Raleigh, N.C.



Additional survivors include her grandchildren: Jacob Morley and Lucas Morley both of Statesville, Ava Warner, Reed Warner and Jackson Warner all of Paxton, Ma.



A gathering of friends and family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 on Wednesday at Nicholson Funeral Home.
