Sandra Elizabeth Kyles Ruehrwein

Sandra Elizabeth Kykes Ruehrwein, age 76, of Statesville, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Iredell Memorial Hospital. Born on June 13, 1946, in Iredell County, she was the daughter of the late Coleman Kyles and Helen Hamrick Kyles.

Sandra was a 1964 graduate of Statesville High School. She graduated from High Point College in 1967 and received her master's degree in 1973 from the University of Dayton. During her career, Sandra held various teaching assignments in the United States as well as overseas while her husband, William was stationed in the United States Air Force. She loved to play Bridge and enjoyed visiting with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Coleman and Helen Kyles, she was preceded in death by her son, William R. Ruehrwein, III. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of over 52 years, William Ruehrwein; her son, Daniel J. Ruehrwein of Moline, IL; her brother, David Kyles and his wife, Patty of Hickory, NC; and her many nieces and nephews.

At this time, no services will be held.
