Sandra Dale Stanley

Sandra "Sandy" Dale Stanley - 66, of Thomasville, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. She was born on March 18, 1955, at the US Army Hospital on Fort Bragg to parents William Clifford Schultz and Elizabeth Althea (Hardin) Schultz. Sandy grew up in the Guilford College area of Greensboro, North Carolina, and attended Muirs Chapel UMC. She was an avid volunteer and supporter of our Veterans. For several years, Sandy wrote a column for "Behind the Lines", a magazine published by Gary Linderer, specializing in US Military Special Operations. Sandy took great pride in her truck driving career which enabled Sandy to see and visit Veterans across the country. Sandy was preceded in death by her loving parents and her beloved daughter, Shawn Marie Bryant. She is missed and survived by her sister, Susan Caulder; son, Vaughn Stephen Henderson II; and grandchildren, Tyler and Kimmie Bryant, and Stone Henderson. A Celebration of Life Reception to honor Sandy will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Nicholson Funerals and Cremations, 1528 National Highway, Thomasville, NC 27360, from 1:00PM to 3:00PM.
