Sally Palombi

Mrs. Sally Ann Adams Palombi, 76, of Statesville, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2011 at the Gordon Hospice House. Mrs. Palombi was born October 11, 1935 in Syracuse, NY and was the daughter to the late John Quincy Adams and Helen Sink Adams. Mrs. Palombi attended Canastota, NY Schools and was a Homemaker. She married on October 29, 1955 to Arduino Palombi, who survives. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by four brothers. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Palombi is survived by a daughter, Anita P. Buck (Jeffery) of Statesville, two sons Paul A. Palombi, of Statesville, and James E. Palombi (Lisa) of Los Angela, CA. She is further survived by six grandchildren; Adam Perry, Emily Buck, Kelly Buck, Simon Palombi, Julian Palombi, and Anthony Palombi, two great grandchildren Dylan Perry, and Rachel Drum. She is also survived by a sister Barbara Dunn of Oneida, NY. A gathering of friends will be conducted 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Monday, January 2, 2012 at the Nicholson Funeral Home.
