Rylee Mclaughlin

Rylee Edie McLaughlin, 5, of Statesville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 27, 2011, at Davis Regional Medical Center. Rylee was born October 9, 2005 in Iredell County and was the daughter of Jack McLaughlin and Rebecca Ward McLaughlin, both of whom survive of the home. Rylee was a member of Christ Boulevard United Methodist Church. She was loved by all and will be missed by all whom she touched. Rylee could always brighten a room up. She had the most beautiful smile and the most adorable laugh. We will truly miss her. Rylee was preceded in death by a sister, Lila Rae McLaughlin. In addition to her parents, Rylee is also survived by a sister, Brianna Collins; two brothers, Kyle McLaughlin and Malcolm McLaughlin, all of Statesville. She is also survived by her maternal grandparents, Wayne and Emma Ward of Statesville along with paternal grandparents, Gene McLaughlin of Mocksville and Angela Chow of Nicaragua. She is further survived by her CNA/Meme, Mary Deason and adoptive Pawpaw, Rodney Massey. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, July 1, 2011, at Christ Boulevard UMC with Pastor Ron Doub and Pastor John Groff officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 until 11:00 am at the church. Burial will follow in the
