Rose Diane Stiers

LEXINGTON-Mrs. Rose Diane Owens Stiers, 69, of Lexington, NC passed away unexpectedly August 16, 2021 at her home. Diane was born January 17, 1952 in Forsyth County and was employed as a finisher for Davis Furniture. While she was able she loved gardening, flowers, and cross-stitching. Mrs. Stiers is preceded in death by her parents George Hermon Owens and Mary Bet James Clodfelter and a grandson Jeremy Lilly. Left to cherish her memories are her two daughters Carla Renae Lilly (Sterling) of Beckley, W. Va. And Christie Everhart Sherman (Marty) of Lexington, NC, sister Cora Tester of Lexington, four grandchildren Ashley Braley, Samuel Sherman, Travis Gainey, and Sarah Dellinger, five great-grandchildren Tristan, Liam, Paycin, Avie, and Judah, nephew Dale Tester, and feline companion Callie. Family and friends are encouraged to visit at the home of Christie Sherman in Lexington. A memorial service is scheduled for 2 pm on Saturday, September 25 at Freedom Baptist Church, 214 Hillcrest Court, Lexington, NC 27292.
