Ronald Sipes

Mr. Ronald Eugene Sipes, 53, of Statesville, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at the Gordon Hospice House following a lengthy illness. Mr. Sipes was born September 3, 1957 in Iredell County and was the son of Jimmy Sipes and Nancy Waugh Sipes. He attended Iredell County schools and was formerly employed with Kewaunee Scientific. In addition to his parents, Ronnie is survived by one brother, Wesley Sipes and wife, Carol of Statesville, one aunt, Laverne Boyton of Idaho, one niece, two nephews and one cousin. Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2011 in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Holleman officiating. The family will visit with friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County, 2347 Simonton Rd., Statesville, NC 28625.
