Roger Lee Mccoy

Mr. Roger Lee McCoy, 54, of Statesville, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 13, 2015, at the home of his brother. Mr. McCoy was born in Welch, WVA on January 24, 1961, and was the son of the late Noah McCoy and Louise Southerland. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters. Mr. McCoy is survived by three brothers, Allen McCoy (Joann) of Conover, Glenn McCoy (Joyce) of Statesville, and Willard McCoy of Abingdon, VA along with one sister, Evelyn Joyce (Ed) of Buffalo, NY. A memorial service celebrating the life of Roger McCoy will be conducted 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at the Holiness House of Prayer with Pastor Ray Isom officiating. The family will visit with friends following the services. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery will be at a later date.
