Rocky Lee Hefner

Rocky Lee Hefner, 35, of Harmony, passed away Monday, December 18, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center following an ongoing illness for over 10 years. Rocky was born July 4, 1982 in Iredell County and was the son of Roscoe and Rachel Upright Hefner. He was a graduate of North Iredell High School and was a Fabricator Welder for South Co. Inc. He loved to explore nature and was an avid poetry writer. He cherished moments with his children and family. In addition to his parents, he is survived by the love of his life, Deborah Marie Bone, mother of his children, two children, Lilly Lynne Deity Hefner, Chance Lee Hefner, three sisters, Melinda Nichols, Crystal Hefner, Angie Daniels and eight nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 22,2017 at Nicholson Funeral Home with Pastor Joel Cass officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Wesleyan Church Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Friday from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at Nicholson Funeral Home.
