Robin Sigmon

Mrs. Robin McCurdy Sigmon, 59, of Statesville, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 7, 2017. Robin was born in Iredell County on January 17, 1958, and was the daughter of the late Arnold Dale McCurdy and Maxine Barkley McCurdy. She was a graduate of South Iredell High School and she was disability retired. In addition to her husband of 39 years, Billy Sigmon, she is survived by one son, Josh Sigmon and wife Leslie along with their son, Dalton Sigmon, all of Statesville. She is also survived by one brother, Mike McCurdy (Lynn), one sister, Lori Renegar (Joey), both of Statesville, two aunts, Lib Smith (Carl) of Atlanta, GA, and Brenda Barkley of Statesville and one uncle, Steve McCurdy of Greensboro. She is further survived by one niece, Bess Privette (Joel), seven nephews, Chad McCurdy (Jessica), Chuck McCurdy, Joseph McCurdy, Cayden Renegar, Jase Renegar, Don Clodfelter (Ashley) and Adam Clodfelter, along with many great-nieces, nephews, and in-laws. A celebration of life will be held 1:00 until 6:00 PM Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at the home of Josh and Leslie Sigmon, 156 Saddlewood Lane, Statesville, NC 28625.
