Robert William Romo

Robert William Romo, 52, of Statesville, entered eternal rest on January 10, 2017. He was born in Missouri on September 1, 1964, and was the son of the late Robert and Margaret Louise Grumman Romo-Buck. He was a high school graduate and had also received some college education. His work was in heating and air conditioning and he also was a cook and helped with maintenance at the Fifth Street Shelter Ministries. He is survived by his daughter, Kathleyne R. Pickrell (Danny), three grandchildren, Cody, Hailey, and Brianna Pickrell. Two sisters, Rebecca Bradley and Kelly Romo. He was preceded in death by a sister, Sandy Schultz, who died in 2012. A service to celebrate Robert's life will be conducted 3:00 PM Friday, January 20, 2017, in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary West officiating. A time of visitation and gathering will follow at the Fifth Street Shelter Ministries.
