Robert Joseph Flouton

Robert "Bobby" Joseph Flouton, 59, of Statesville, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, June 21, 2015, at the Gordon Hospice House. Bobby was born in Ludlow, MA on January 1, 1956, and was the son of the late Edwin William and Lillian Goddu Flouton. He was a graduate of Iredell County schools. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bernie Flouton and a sister, Joanie Flouton. He is survived by two sons, Robert J. Flouton, Jr and Roger J. Flouton and a granddaughter, Kay Leigh Flouton, all of Gastonia. He is also survived by two brothers, Lenny Flouton and Freddy Flouton, both of Statesville and four sisters, Cathy Kyles of Winston Salem, Patsy F. Johnson (Ken) and Mary Flouton, both of Union Grove, Suzie Flouton of Dudley, NC along with numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services for Bobby Flouton will be conducted 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 24, 2015, in the Bethesda Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Eric Faust and Pastor Stephen Pope officiating. The family will visit with friends this evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Nicholson Funeral Home.
