Robert Henry Anderson

Robert Henry Anderson, 72, of Winston-Salem, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Iredell County on August 16, 1945 to the late Olin Jack Anderson and Linda Secrest Anderson.



Robert attended Iredell County Schools and was a member of Woodland Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. He was retired from Bell Construction after many years of service. Robert was a Nascar fan and loved to play golf. His greatest love was his family and he was loving father and grandfather.



Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Anderson and a sister, Betty Speaks.



Left to cherish his memory are his son, Lynn Anderson (Michelle); a daughter, Kim Moore (Jackie); a granddaughter, Ashley Stewart; three grandsons, Brandon Moore, Ty Anderson, and Lucas Anderson; a great grandson, Landon Stewart; four brothers, J. P. Anderson (Ruby), Elmer Anderson (Lavada), Larry Anderson (Molly), and Steve Anderson; and a sister, Pauline Stone.



Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Gammons officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will visit with friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 10:00 until 11:00 am
