Robert "Andy" Anthony Fox

Robert Anthony "Andy" Fox, 57, of Cleveland, went Home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at his residence after battling cancer. He was born on April 4, 1960 in Hollywood, Florida to Harold Fox and the late Doris Broome Fox. Andy attended West Iredell High School and was employed by Daimler Custom Truck Service in Cleveland. He attended Coutryside Baptist Church and was a member of UAW Local 3520. Andy was an avid Braves and Tarheels fan. He enjoyed being outdoors with his animals and gardening. Andy's true love was his wife and children. He was an exceptional person and will be missed by all that knew him. In addition to his mother, Doris, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jesse and Suma Fox; maternal grandparents, Robert and Clarice Broome; and a daughter, Breanna Sarah Marie Carter. In addition to his father, Harold, he is survived by his wife, Leslie Freeze Fox; his children, Jesse Fox of the home, Michael Fox, Brenn Wheeler of the home, Brittany Freeze (Kalep), Jenna Fox Harmon (Anthony); three grandchildren, Samantha Harmon, Blake King, and Kolton King; three sisters, Lisa Fox Johnson (Steve), Michelle Fox Moore (Brian), and Stacie Fox Younce (Robert); mother and father-in-law who loved him dearly, Bennie and Grace Freeze; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Countryside Baptist Church with Pastor James Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Baptist Church in Mocksville. Active pallbearers will be Jason Fisher, Andrew Allen, Jason Proest, Bobby Oxendine, Larry Storti, Robert Hatcher, Terry Freeze, and Ronnie Cranfill. Honorary pallbearers will the employees of Daimler Custom Truck Service. The family will visit with friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Nicholson Funeral Home.
