Regina Bost

Regina Warren Bost of West Columbia, SC, formerly of Statesville, went home to her heavenly father February 23 after a long illness. Born in Hiddenite, NC on September 22, 1930 to Lonnie Wilbern and Mary Iva Payne Warren, Regina was preceded in death by sisters, Jessie Sigmon and Hesta King and a brother Wilbern Warren.



On November 12, 1949 she married Rolland Hoyte "Buck" Bost, the love of her life, who preceded her in death on March 3, 1999 after 49 years of marriage. To this union, two children were given, Larry Allen Bost (Mary) of Lexington, SC and Tandra Jill Rogers (Steve) of West Columbia, SC.



Mrs. Bost is survived by grandson Jonathan Bost (Abbey) of Lexington, SC, great-grandsons Grayson and Beckett, and great-granddaughter Blakely.



Mrs. Bost was a housewife, lab operator, plant managers secretary and church secretary during her work career. She was a devoted member of Bethlehem UMC for over 60 years where she fulfilled many roles over the years including Sunday school teacher, UMW officer, UMYF counselor and church secretary.



Services will be held 11:00 Monday, February 26, 2018 at Bethlehem UMC with Rev. Olin Isenhour and Rev. Robert Clanton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 9:30 until 11:00 AM at the church. Active pallbearers will be Jeff Freeze, Max Plyler, Barry, Dale, and Tony Bost and Michael Warren. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Bost, Brad Freeze, Kristen Freeze, and Reuben Eargle.
