Raymond Arthur Brown

Mr. Raymond Arthur Brown, 68, of Statesville, died Friday, February 12, 2016 at Iredell Memorial Hospital. Born in Kingston, New York on March 6, 1947, he was a son of the late Arthur Brown and Ida Elizabeth White Brown. He was formerly a janitor at Rondout Valley High School and was a U. S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by a brother, Larry and two sisters, Laura and Anna. Survivors include brothers: John Brown of Hurley, N.Y., Wayne Brown of Ellenville, N.Y., Allan Brown of Statesville, N.C. and Jeff Brown of Saugerties, N.Y., sisters: Joan Born of Statesville, Florence Swartz of Kingston, N.Y., Carol Kastanis of High Falls, N.Y., and Sherry Benchic of Lake Katrine, N.Y., along with several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
