Randy Carroll Brown

Mr. Randy Carroll Brown, 70, of Statesville, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2019 at Carolinas Continued Care in Charlotte.

Mr. Brown was born in Iredell County on July 1, 1948 and was the son of the late Lester Gibson and Mildred Irene Brown Gibson. He was a graduate of Iredell County schools

On July 16, 1966, he married Sharon Sigmon Brown and together they shared 52 years of marriage until his passing.

Mr. Brown was a retired truck driver with Cumulus Fiber in Statesville. He was a member of Bristol Drive Baptist Church.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Brown Overcash.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Jennifer B. McDaniel (Joel) along with three grandchildren, Nathaniel Roy Brown, Caitlin Michelle Anderson and Nicholas Carroll Anderson, all of Statesville.

Funeral services honoring the life of Randy Brown will be conducted at 11:30 AM Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Bristol Drive Baptist Church with Rev. R. Howard Wagoner and Rev. Dr. J.B. Parker, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 10:30 until 11:15 AM at the church and immediately following the committal service, the family will depart for some private family time.
